On Days where i feel lacking in the technical department of art, i feel that the best pick me up is just trying to draw my own version of an artist i admire. I was quite surpised with the outcome. I think the hardest and what makes his work unique is the amount of detail that goes into the background and the facial expressions of his subjects. Very raw, very tactile and hopefully i'll get to that standard someday

Lately i've been trying to refocus my work more onto design and typography. Personally i don't think that my work can be clean cut and minimalist( i'm a clutterbug) but it seems to be a must in commercial work nowadays. Here is my draft at keeping it clean and visually appealing to an extent. Can't help myself to add an abject factor to it, after all art isn't interesting if it was all kittens and puppies! Still a long way to go...

Been reading George Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice and watching the HBO series of it whilst i was finishing up the robot competition piece. Usually opening titles are quite artistic, sort of montage based and has a catchy song that will follow you to your grave but i have never seen one that took so much effort and actually changes itself as the story progresses! bloody genius!

Just tells you that with enough time, effort and team power, a far fetched idea can always become a reality

I know it isn't fantastic but i can't help but feel slightly content with the progress from illustration to animation

Doing a basic grow game for an on going personal project called onomatopeia. Would like to know how this tree fits in into the urban landscape :)
